Other Resources related to Ultima IX: Ascension

The current technical FAQ is here. It's a handy resource for those having difficulty running the game.

The Official Ultima Ascension Website is pretty, but lacks either hard information or regular updates. Origin has apparently abandoned it, along with their web boards.

The final (v1.18) patch can be downloaded from Voyager Dragon's Reconstruction Site.

Before playing the game, do not forget to obtain both the 'unofficial' v1.19 patch and the fan-made economy, monster, and dialogue patches created by FansForUltima, and now also hosted by Voyager Dragon.

Aquamarine Dragon has created a Music Extractor which allows the waves of the music to be extracted for playing outside the game. You can get it here.

If you'd rather put stuff back into the game, Doug the Eagle has created a Music Encoder, which puts a SND or RAW file back into the game music. It doesn't support compression so you can't go overboard, but it's nice to get rid of Hail Britannia. Seek it upon his site.

The Wayward Avatar is a good place to find more information about the game.
